Why Your MOM VOICE matters now more than ever!

It’s a weird, weird world right now.

That’s never been a truer statement. But one thing about this weird world is that our voices, our advocacy, our INVOLVEMENT is more necessary than ever. Whether it’s advocating for your child’s educational needs during a pandemic, or making sure that your rights as a woman are not turned into a dystopian nightmare like The Handmaid’s Tale – the important thing is that, even as tired as we are, we stay engaged.

You may have heard that we published our fourth book – The Mom’s Guide to Becoming Socially & Politically Engaged (& How to Raise Tiny Activists) but you might not know we came back with a 2nd edition. I wanted to add some more voices of color and a few more topics that we missed the first time around.

The book was set to re-launch on what happened to be the week of all the riots and the Black Lives Matter movement. We chose to not do any marketing or publicity at that time, because those voices needed their space.

But, those events & then the death of RBG made us realize – this is a topic we just need to really talk about right now.

No matter where you stand on the issues, if you don’t stand somewhere, your voice doesn’t count.

Join us for a special round table discussion tomorrow night!

We have decided to have a very special round table discussion with some of the authors featured in the book.

Sorry for the last minute notice, but we didn’t want to wait any longer. The discussion will be held on zoom and you can pre-register here. https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_U9xbnIAfTfqORv0HiNl-5w

If you can’t make it live, there will be a replay sent out.

So please join us, September 30, 8pm EST…

We’ll be digging into why moms are needed more than ever now and what actions you can take TODAY and over the next month, even in a crazy, hectic, Corona World, to make sure our voices are heard in November.
Featuring Lose the Cape contributors S. Nadia Hussain, Desiree Peterkin Bell, nad Sarah O’ Dell. Hosted by Lose the Cape founder, Alexa Bigwarfe and Lose the Cape Podcast Co-host, Nancy Cavillones.
Captioning Available Upon Request.

Can’t wait to hear from you!
